Overview

The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Business is a two-year, skills-focused program at Maestro College. You’ll study the core areas that keep modern organizations running — management, marketing, operations, finance, and entrepreneurship — with an emphasis on practical, applied learning. This guide shows you how the program is structured and what you’ll study across the nine terms.

What you’ll study in the AAS in Business

The AAS in Business gives you a practical foundation in the core areas of modern business. You’ll learn how organizations operate, what drives different markets, how to manage projects and day-to-day operations, and how data and AI tools support clear, informed decisions.

You’ll also develop hands-on skills you can use in real work settings — from improving a process, to supporting a team, to planning initiatives and moving ideas from early concept to real execution. You’ll complete the AAS in Business over nine terms, with coursework designed to build practical, job-ready skills for early-career roles.
